Twelve games

We will expect zero points from any but we will certainly get at least some points from some of those games. I really enjoyed the way we set up and played against e.g. Arsenal in the cup (yes I know that was essentially Arsenal B but still). I think we will get more enjoyment that you'd think from these games and also some points.

It *is* a bit gulpish that, if you discount those twelve games, we have just 26 games in which to get 40 points, a shade over 1.5ppg. But I think we'll do quite well next term (because we will retain the core of this whole greater than the sum of its parts) before eventually bowing to the inevitable some future year (because we'll sell from our core and buy someone on paper as good or better but who doesn't gel in the same way and we'll lose whatever magical synergy Webber/Farke have conjured with this particular set of players).

Or maybe not. As if I know anything about anything.
