Oh and remember

when the new trains arrive, there will be a couple of prioritised trains each morning that will do the trip in around 90 minutes. I don't think they are peak though. If you want to do every day, peak office hours, etc. my experience will be very different from yours - I actively avoid all that. I cannot comment on the fun that is fighting for seats, etc.
