Next year we should give the whole transfer budget to Bez and Shaun Ryder and ask them to judge transfer value based on the question “Would we get more entertainment from watching this player at old Trafford or by spending the money on gear which can be equally distributed amongst season ticket holders?” So a dreary afternoon in Watford watching a 50 year old Ashley Young hobbling up the right wing could be enlivened by the fact that your cheeseburger’s talking to you and Tanith Chong appears to be riding a unicorn.
