Really don't buy the argument that clubs discrimionate against BAME manager candidtaes

If we know anything about football its that most clubs want to win and be successful. They will appoint anyone who they think will bring them that regardless of race/nationality. You can of course argue that Hughton's sacking today is an example of the type of ruthlessness and "anything to succeed" attitude that exists. If black managers are good then they will get employed. because that's how football works.

Look at how overrepresented black and ethnic minorities are at player level and you can see clubs just do not care what race you are.

There may well be an issue with black players finishing their careers and not going into coaching which needs to be addressed but it seems to me that many of the top black players often go into the media (as do many of the top white players) and with the easy money on offer for being fairly mediocre in that field can you blame them? Or indeed with the amount of money many of them earn as players can you blame them for going into other areas such as media, music, fashion or property etc? I'm sure that as more and more black players retire and some go into coaching then the numbers of black coaches and managers will increase but that will take a bit of time.

I'm also sure the likes of Ferdinand or Jenas who seem intelligent blokes could be decent managers were they minded to get into it.
