Realised afterwards they could be interpreted differently to how I meant them.

It’s the twitter equivalent of that in my book. I appreciate tweeting is not quite as instantaneous as speaking and I do agree it was a stupid thing to tweet which he needed to retract but I just think people should look at all the facts, circumstances, motives and the person involved rather than say “that could be racist, string him up.”

Of course none of us know what he was really thinking except him.
