Spurs did when they insisted on playing their 4-3-1-2 which left them

isolated so had to play long balls until they finally realised they had to change to a 4-3-3 and then no it was not long ball.

Liverpool were more incisive long passing in the style we do sometimes (Godfrey and Emi for example). They intentionally tried to use mane’s pace against the Barca defence.

In fact toward the end of the game barca tried to draw Liverpool deep and hit long passes to semedo as well. But spurs were the only ones who (I’m the first half) were playing hopeful hoofs
