In fairness to that particular tweet, it’s pretty standard fare for club twitter accounts. I’m sure you could find similarly boisterous tweets from other big clubs every weekend, but unfortunately for Barça, the 500/1 shot came off.

Overall I think Barcelona were a credit to football last night. Did you see their fans after the game? While visibly devastated, many joined in with clapping the Liverpool fans and stood with their scarves up for You’ll Never Walk Alone. I doubt many clubs would take that defeat with such dignity.
