Good evening Delia and Michael

I know that you visit this website from time to time and that tonight will be no exception in order to guage the fans' reaction to the statement you have made.
Firstly I want to make it perfectly clear that the vast majority of NCFC supporters, if not all of them, are extremely appreciative of the time and effort (to say nothing of the money) you both continue to put in at Carrow Road with the best of intentions in making the Club successful. Thank you very much indeed for that.
Having carefully considered the contents of your statement, and not myself being entirely unfamiliar with the ins and outs of running a football club, I have to take issue with a couple of points you make.
You criticise the fans for booing when City were winning on Saturday. Instead of questioning such an attitude wouldn't it be more constructive to ask why this was happening? Doesn't it occur to you that the feeling of affection and support for Norwich City FC is so remarkably deep-rooted in Norfolk and far beyond that there had to be a valid reason for this seemingly curious behaviour occurring? The fact is that a number of current problems are so obvious to the supporters that they cannot comprehend why members of the Board are being so blinkered in their views and are showing no desire to put things right.
It was brilliant to see Dean Ashton replaced by someone like Rob Earnshaw but almost to the man the fans have been clamouring all season for a quality midfielder as well. For example, with a bit of tact and guile we could have had Jason Koumas at a realistic price. The Club's supporters could see the importance of this, the Club's manager could not!
On paper at least we have arguably the strongest squad of players overall in the Championship. We all know they CAN play but how often DO they? It is the manager's job to cajole and motivate. He has to know what makes players tick and how to apply the art of man-management in bringing out their best skills on a regular basis. Nigel Worthington lost his way on that one some time ago and now he has 'lost' the dressing room. Yes, I DO have inside information!
You say "if the time does come when we all collectively feel the manager is not right, we will have no hesitation in changing things." With respect, I have to ask when will this be? If you were able to hold a referendum among 25,000 City fans right now I think you would be pushed to find 5,000 of them supporting Mr Worthington. So what are you telling us? That the Board of Norwich City Football Club knows more about football than 20,000 regular fans?
Believe me, and countless others. The time HAS come for the Board to change it's 'collective' viewpoint and to no longer 'hesitate' in changing things. I for one would prefer you to do it now while we are in the Championship instead of waiting for eventual demotion to League One!
I don't dislike Nigel Worthington as an individual and my criticism of him should not be taken as personal. I am not interested in what you may regard as successes of the past. In the interests of the Club I am only concerned about what is happening now and in future.
Please do what needs to be done!
