"Fans are one dimensional" - Where did you quote that from??? It says "We do not serve your best interests by thinking one-dimensionally, we do have to consider the wider picture." That doesn't imply anything about the fans. It's saying that they have to take on all arguemeets and considerations when making a decision rather then going with what the vocal minority want.

"Only have limited resources to work with" - She was refering to the difficulties of staying in the Premier when even most teams that struggle in the premiership still have budgets that dwarf ours. IE - Birmingham, Pompey etc.

"Could we get anyone better than Nigel?" - As a championship manager his record is up their with the best over the last 5 years.
