Daniel Farke says there is no pressure on his Norwich City side heading into their final game of the season at Aston Villa on Sunday (12.30pm).
City know they only require a point from their visit to Villa Park to clinch the Championship title, having sealed promotion to the Premier League last week against Blackburn.
His team come up against a Villa side who have already secured a play-off place and are on a 12-game unbeaten streak.
“It’s the toughest task you can have on the last game,” said Farke, speaking to canaries.co.uk.
“Villa are in-form and have lots of quality and I’m pretty sure they will be desperate to get a win and create some momentum for the play-offs. They will be desperate to finish in style.
“They are in brilliant shape, without any doubt. At the moment, it’s probably the toughest place you can go.
“It will be sold out and their crowd will be loud but we’ve showed throughout the season that we are resilient and have a big fighting will.
“There is no pressure on us because we are already promoted. We want to enjoy it and attack the game and we want to have the perfect finish.”
Although Farke believes his team should play with freedom having already earned promotion, he says the desire is there to finish the season with the Championship title.
“We are willing to do this. We want to finish in style and our feeling is that it would be totally deserved if we finish winning the league title.
“It’s not like the Premier League where I’m pretty sure whoever ends as runner-up will be unbelievably disappointed.
“In the Championship, the most important thing is promotion and we have achieved this. But the title is a bit like the icing on the cake.
“We have already the cake, that’s the most important thing but we also have a chance for the icing. We are greedy right now to get this one point to be allowed to lift the trophy.
“It’s not the most important thing in the world but my feeling is it would be a well-deserved win and finish for our fans and for this amazing club and group of players.”
