for it's future seasons, it's far more important to qualify for the CL than win the league. In fact, the best outcome for a club financially is to finish 3rd and runner up in the cups (smaller bonus pay outs).

So if you are saying 14th is more important than the FA Cup, you can only be saying it because you have fallen for the party line that finances are everything, and trophies are less important.
