“The nastiest NCFC manager i’ve had to deal with”

According to one of my dad’s cousins who spent years as a NCFC reporter for the EDP and Evening News (now working outside journalism).

That said, a mate of mine who works in broadcast media claims Lambert is much maligned and actually a decent fella when you get to know him. He recently showed me texts from Lambert and, somewhat amusingly, PL writes as he speaks (lots of “we’ll give it a right good go” etc). Interestingly PL didn’t realise the state Ipswich were in - crumbling stadium, disinterested owner etc - before he went there. Suspect he’s now realising how big a job it will be to get them promoted at the first attempt. My heart bleeds #HintOfSarcasm
