Not sure that anyone thinks he's a c**t. Think the general consensus is

Nice guy but played dreadful, dreary, negative football and should have been sacked sooner as it was obvious he was dragging us down.

I think there is a bit of resentment at the stick we got for sacking him from the media who did not have to watch us regularly and who do tend to give him an easy ride because he's a nice guy and the most successful black manager. I think there is so much goodwill for him in the game as a consequence of those two things that some of his flaws as a manager tend to get overlooked.
