They played three matches in the last week of may.

One was home against Liverpool, they won 1-0 and it was nearly a week after the cup final they'd lost to Man Utd! Then they had two away games against Coventry and Luton which they lost 4-1 and 2-0.

They didn't care - they'd won the league by 13 points, got to the final of the FA cup and won the Cup-Winners' Cup. Hence all the postponements.
