Yep. None of the train stuff matters if you are not back in the UK and....

....whilst it is 98% certain you will be back near enough on time it isn't guaranteed (and it can't be). Given the return flight time you have no edge should there be a delay and you still require Heathrow baggage handlers to be get your stuff through. All the advice others have given about Heathrow T3 + the Piccadilly Tube etc is spot on (and the Tube train frequency reduces in an evening - if you are unlucky enough to time it wrong it can be an hour plus from Heathrow to get to Kings Cross) but mid evening with a risk - however slight - of missing the late train. Know what I'd do. And the roads home will be slightly quieter.
