Last season was a failure?

Not because West Ham and Wigan are showing everyone what a good manager can achieve but because we consistently employed negative tactics and got exactly what we deserved.

Sitting back and trying to tough it out against Premiership strikers was one of the most spectacularly stupid decisions in the club recent history.
