Worthington?s Barmy Army

So Jose Mourinho has let down Chelsea by not winning the European Cup. Has Jose taken Chelsea as far as he can? The biggest challenge for him, and the target for this season was European glory, of which he hasn?t achieved. Has he let the club down- should he get sacked- no because he is still a good manager and has achieved great things with the club. Does this remind you of any situation. Correct- the one we have at NCFC- expectations for this year was promotion- ok so we might not make the playoffs but the structure is still there for success. Nigel has done wonders for this club, and will do again. Back to the Chelsea example- will Jose get stick for not achieving his number one goal- I don?t think so. Worthington just like Jose has done a tremendous job for his club, and should be rewarded with another chance after a rather sloppy season. Jose still has the backing of the fans, and so in my opinion should Mr Worthington. Nigel is a talented manager, and will take this club back to the Premiership. 3 points at Leeds, and who knows maybe the target of promotion is within reach!! Forever the optimist.
