This whole team selection thing

To be honest I do think there’s only one or two on here who are criticising certain players.

I think in reality a lot of us would secretly like to see us play 14 or 15 guys at the same time if the rules allowed it 😂. I’ve missed vrancic’s creativity and I’ve missed leitner’s poise and passing and wondered since his injury if we would have been EVEN better had he been ever present.

I’ve missed our half an hour solid of sexy football which has tended to be more in spurts with McLean in the side but we won 7 or 8 in a row when he came in and effectively that unchanged side put us in the position to allow us to absorb two consecutive draws and still be comfortably positioned not only for promotion but still clear st the top.

I wish Rhodes could have played more as well.

But for me the irony is that while last year the whole argument was against possession based “boring” football, once that clicked and we realised how amazing it could be, we’ve been unsatisfied since we’ve been slightly less possession focused in recent weeks.

It’s also quite impressive that we can change styles so successfully by the way.
