I'd hestitate to imagine the actual cost, but I reckon that they'll need

about 50-100 more billionaires pledging that kind of cash.

It's interesting to think though that nowadays, bar replacing something like Notre Dame, no one would ever consider building such a massively ornate structure ever again - with human labour. We might be able to get robots to do it for a relative pittance one day of course
