Its the combination of no Emi and no passer in the middle. I also think that

Leitner and Vrancic are both good at making themselves available to the centre backs for an outball and when they are not there we are much more susceptible to the high press because our CB's don;t have as many options for an easy pass and so end up hoofing it or trying a high risk pass and give it away.
