This is bollocks

Every defender is always trying to block it, even if they're just standing in the way (otherwise why are they standing in the way?) . The issue is whether they are trying to block it with their arms and Godfrey clearly wasn't. I have never ever seen an incident like that where the ball deflects up off a leg onto an arm where the commentators have not said "no penalty". I think the ref just didn't see it deflect up off the leg but did see it strike the arm.
