I know what you mean about sick pay (and holidays) when Temping...

...it wasn't that long ago that I'd be using holiday up as soon as I accrued it so as to make ends meet.

I was gutted I missed Luton (for ground touring not footballing reasons) as it was a midweek when my work shift clashed.

My missus was looking forward to her first trip to the New Den but had to pull it for the same reason - she didn't fancy the trip on her own, understandably.

Unfortunately we both witnessed the Loftus Road game...went for a wander through London afterwards and met her mate for a drink which was nice, though.

A Friday night shift meant I passed on Plymouth. I think it was called off/cut short but by then it was too late to make alternative arrangements. Errr and I couldn't be f**ked trying either.
