Actual supporters who turn up are an inconvenience. I'm sure the crowd and atmosphere can be added in by CGI and eventually everyone will watch via VR headsets which makes it feel like you're there without leaving your front room.

Football invited TV in to cover the game but now it's running and dictating the game.

The big 6 provide best TV revenues as they have more who will watch on TV. It's not in TV's interest for clubs where the majority of supporters actually attend to do well as they wouldn't need to pay for TV coverage.
