Was in the River End for a change last night.... my report.

WE huffed and puffed against their set up all night. Steipers and Mcleans corners were woeful... until the one on 87 mins.
It wasn't until we did something really different... ie Godfrey raiding forward and joining the attack, that the space for the first goal finally appeared.

Cantwell did ok, but nothing really special. Passing was poor and telegraphed most of the game. McLean and Steipers mainly at fault. Lots of over hit crosses. Overall we struggled to break them down untill the 85th + minute.

I'd like to say Reading played well, but we should have had more in our locker, and been more inventive and adaptive tactically, to break them down.
I wasn't surprised by their last minute equaliser either, we should have been able to see that game out.

I hope we bring in Vrancic and or Leitner, against Wigan as I will one of the 5000+ there as well.

I've been in the Barclay for last 2 matches... the River end was so reticent vocally and very quiet.
Also the facilities in the River end are so poor and cramped, compared to the Barclay.

I sound like a real moaner, but I am critical mainly of us not really achieving the level we aspire to.

We really could do with a win against Wigan, but they have good home form, so I will be there making lots of noise too.
