Yes "we" were

Well, I wasn't and a whole load of people weren't, BUT some of "us" wanted him gone, wanted Webber out, wanted Delia and Michael and their "nepotistic" nephew gone, wanted to end the failed gamble, etc etc etc.

We'll all have our own views about how to really SUPPORT the club we follow. I can't be bothered to look back a year, it even to September, and see which of you were loudest or most negative, but many of you were, and if you'd had your way then, we wouldn't be here now.

Those of us who back then were "happy clappers", in bed with Delia, fooled by the master propagandist Webber, taken in by the trainee foreign coach, or other written off as naives and imbeciles.... maybe we just had a bit more faith.
