Web hosting recommendations

Dear Wroth Of All Knowledge,

I need to:

- buy a domain (with real address masking but they all do that these days)
- buy hosting for a website for that domain
- easily design and deploy a fairly basic website, which must be responsive, with the option to add complexity/functionality later on
- send/receive emails with a limited number of email addresses at that domain
- ideally run a couple of other "side hustle" domains too without anyone being able to link them to my main thing. One would be a blog and one something different.

None of this will have high traffic, but it should serve content "quickly enough".

Some hosting cos offer very low Y1 costs but more substantial Y2 costs. I'd prefer a smoother charging structure.

Who would the wrath recommend? I've stumbled across iionos, inmotion, tsohost and so on (I don't like the look of godaddy for some reason) - what gems/gotchas/opportunities am I missing?
