It was Cameron that made the promise that effectively bound parliament to a deliberately

non binding referendum.

Was one of the biggest mistakes of this whole process.

The intention of the vote was to be indicative of opinion, and the start of a national conversation.
had it been binding, the result would have been overturned and declared unsafe by ow, as has already been established in court.
As it wasn't binding, there is nothing to overturn.
