basically the UK government is going to temporarily ignore the fact that there is a border

so if a new car from Germany was brought in via Dover you would paid tariffs on it, if the same car is shipped to Dublin then taken up to Belfast before being shipped across to Scotland, you would not pay any tariffs on it
