Controversial but.... Hoooghes....

am I alone in thinking that for the 20 mins before he got injured against Derby and for the ?? minutes before he got injured against Stoke, there were definate signs of improvement?
Certainly against Stoke he looked one of our better players... admittedly I know thats not saying much, but nether-the-less...

I hestitate to compare him to Gary Holt, who had a dire first season here, as people have short memories and will only remember the swill he dished up last season... but it could be that he will come good.

ps: I notice there seems to be a lack of reasoned debate on here lately, so for those of you who cannot put forward an alternative view without a torrent of f**ks and c**ts, feel free to hurl abuse as an alternative...
