I dont think a GE will make a blind bit of difference

First past the post means small parties have little chance of a major breakthrough. UKIP would be lucky to get 1 seat. LibDems might be able to recapture some of their historic strongholds, but dont bet on it. Their voice has been non-existent lately. I barely see them reported on.

Everyone would continue to vote along tribal lines without engaging their brain once, which will mean in likelihood roughly equal numbers of Con and Lab MPs. This time we would all have to hold our nose and vote either for more of the worst and least competent government this has ever seen, or for the woefully incompetent opposition (maybe not ever, as we've had some f**king bad oppositions in the past).

With roughly equal numbers of each likely, we'd then be left right back where we are, with disproportionate power held by the rag bag of UTTER AND COMPLETE NUTTERS that are the f**king DUP.

Politics in this country is totally f**ked. And all the big problems we have in this country (and globally) will get zero attention while we argue about the facile waste of time that is Brexit.

But who is to blame for that? Each country gets the government it deserves.
