SCM LLP accounts clearly show the highest paid partner as receiving just over £2m profit share. Dunno where near the £7m the accountant suggested. (Albeit still a large amount, but it doesn’t say it was him that got it)
The accountant is clearly not an impartial person as he (if you google him) is an author of left wing articles and books and has been outspoken in his support of John McDonnel one of the most fat left politicians there is
He is also not a very good accountant. He suggest JRM as a 15% partner must have got 15% of the profits and so his share was £7m. This is bull and a partner in an LLP doesn’t have to receive the same profits share as his stake.
There are many more inaccuracies such as the mixing up of “the firm” with its funds etc etc throughout but as soon as I watched it I lost all interest when the accountant made such basic errors
