....recently in Scotland. There is a tendency at present back to the hooliganism of the 1970's.

If it is decided punitive action has to be taken (big big decision) then for the first time ever I agree with Alan Shearer. I would say that a minimum of 2 Birmingham City games should be played behind closed doors and would also suggest innocent fans (home and away) be allowed to claim back the cost of their ticket from Mr Paul Mitchell but that may not be practical.

The more draconian, but possibly more effective solution, is a points deduction (to be effective from next season). That undoubtedly hurts a lot and bluntly is unfair on Birmingham City.... but the fact is that Mr Mitchell is a supporter of that team and if Blues do get a points deduction thanks to his personal stupidity then it should stop this sort of behaviour - hopefully.
