the point is once the penalty is taken

its back in play, the keeper saves it or it hits the woodwork , the game continues thats the point of football its a fast hopefully flowing game

it is just a free kick but under another name ,

if you are pissed off with keepers off the line or encroachment i agree with you , but its up to the authorities to apply the rules which are in place to stop it
