AJ-Wilder was The Match The World Wanted. Fury-Wilder happened and that rematch is now The Match The World Wanted, with AJ presumed to take on the winner.
But now Fury says he won't fight Wilder next. So both him and AJ will go ahead and take on lesser rivals. And the three of them don't look like taking each other on any time soon. Surely the governing bodies could at least try to work together to make the best fighters fight each other? Doesn't this just diminish the sport - in other sports, after all, usually the best teams or players play each other, and that's what the general public pay to see (fans like us will pay anyway, but most people aren't fans like us, especially for something like boxing).
