I'm afraid...

the "absolutely magnificent" remark is akin to Worthington thumbing his nose at us. Not quite sure WHO he's trying to kid. Us, the Board or (most probably) himself.

I'm happy we won, but it was so far removed from being convincing in any way shape or form, that a manager can hardly claim the performance was absolutely magnificent. As I said, if that 6 yard bullet header that Greeno kept out, went in... would the performance STILL have been "absolutely magnificent"?

Of course NOT. A result by the skin of our teeth, and he knows it. Was just waiting to throw it back in our faces. The sign of a man very much under pressure and a little out of control. Very sad really.
