Its kinda sad isn't it how people who seemed so close and imprtsnt

Become so distant and unimportant. I had a mate who I worked with roofing and retained fire service, brilliant bloke couple of kids always liked a beer. Building recession hit early nineties and I managed to get a job as fireman on the base with the yanks. Then his dad died unexpectedly after what seemed like a nothing accident to his leg.Mate went off the rails a bit his Mrs didn't help buying him drink . He's been gone now fourteen years only late 30's all so bloody pointless. I could have done more but just too busy.
