there are a lot of clubs in the Prem that if they spent a number of years outside the Prem would just disappear off the media radar (and some, like Man City & Newcastle, that wouldn't).

The point is that there are a LOT more clubs of about our size than can fit in the Prem so at any given time the majority of them will be outside it. That means we can't expect (nor do we deserve in terms of our size) to be in the Prem. It will hard for us to get there, and hard to stay there. Whoever is manager. So 'not being in the Prem' is not sufficient reason in itself for wanting Worthy out.
