Knew it would take an injury, sickness or a change of formation for Farke to drop a player after 45.

Reading comments afterward it seems it was the shape which was the bigger problem and after they adjusted it and sat McLean a bit deeper second half, he looked much better.

Clearly a decent player and his finishing is outstanding. That’s what we get from him and vrancic over leitner. Surprised he is as old as 27 though. Why wasn’t he picked up earlier?!!
