those nine minutes...

between Iwan's goal and Brum's equalised were one of the most depressing things I've seen as a City fan. All our players on the edge of our box hopefully lumping any ball they managed to get to in the general direction of Brum's corner flag to try and waste a few seconds. And we were going to try to do that for 29 minutes!!! All attempts to actually play football ourselves totally abandoned.
And we saw teh same thing last year in almost every game in which we went ahead (Newcastle, Blackburn & Brum at home being the worst example two of those agaisnt 10 men!!).

Gutless and negative tactics that really should have been put in the dustbin years ago but are stll apparently deemed valuable.
