Press news in...

It's a nice sunny day at Coolknee for today's press conference with Daniel Farke as he looks ahead to tomorrow's match against Bristol City.

-------------------------------------------------------

DF: It was important to have a more relaxed week and calm the load down. Marco Stiepermann was doubtful at the beginning of the week and he had a scan but in the last few days he has been able to train with us. After the Preston game he had a small tear, but we were able to get him ready for the Bolton game. We calmed his load on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but is back in the mix now.

DF: Everyone else is available. It was important that Timm Klose had a proper week of training and also Moritz Leitner, it's important he finds his trust back in his ankle.
Moritz could start, but after three and a half months out we have to be a bit careful. If there was an emergency we could start him but it's a nice situation that all the midfield players involved in the recent weeks are available.

DF: Alex Tettey is already back on the training pitch, not in team training but doing a lot of running. He will join us Sunday after the game or next week. He should be available for Millwall. Mariov Vrancic has already taking part in team training and is back in contention for tomorrow. He was just out for 12 days so it helps a lot and he looked sharp and good. I will make a late decision but I am thinking of having him in the squad tomorrow. We sent him to Germany to see a specialist, and big credit to our sport science department, they have done a really good job.

DF: I'm pleased with Philip Heise. It's not easy to adapt and come in on a table at the top of the table. But I think he did it in a perfect way. The trip to spend the time at Preston was pretty good for him to spend time with the lads and I'm totally happy that we have him. The only problem, if you want to call it a problem, is that Jamal is outstanding in this position.

DF: We know that even in last season they were pretty close to being there in the play-offs. Right now they are on a more than decent run and to be there with so many wins in a row is outstanding. There are at least two games left against top sides - one at Middlesbrough and at home against Bristol.

DF: It's a game where we have to be at our best level to win points and it's a crucial game. It's important we finish above them in the end table and if we win this game we are in a good position to be in the play-off places. It's a good chance for us to make a good step and be there in a good place in the end table.

DF: I wouldn't say the pressure is on them. They are coming in good shape. We are greedy to be successful in this game and win points to keep the distance.

DF: Everyone was able to watch their last games and everyone knows they are the in-form team in the league. The preparation is more or less the same and we always find topics to work on for the game. From Tuesday we were really focussed on the game because we know how important it will be for fighting for points.

DF: Their pressing is always on a good level so we will have to find a solution to bypass them and keep the ball. If we are able to do this we will will be able to create chances. They also didn't concede many goals in recent games and had many clean sheets. We have to be patient but also really clinical in the finishing. It's also important to be able to control their counters because it's one of their strengths.

DF: After two difficult away games and spending time away it's nice to be back at Carrow Road. The last game at Carrow Road was not too bad and we need our fans to create a good atmosphere and be there with one unit.

DF: It's normal that the supporters and Club is dreaming [of the Premier League]. But nothing is achieved, there are still 13 games to go. In the background it's important to plan for different scenarios but it's important to not be too proud of yourself and continue the work.

DF: I hoped that Paul didn't get a ban because I have so much undterstanding for a coach under pressure. Sadly there was one and of course you have to accept it. It's not so much my topic and we go on and we accept there are more topics to speak about than the Ipswich game.
£25,000 is a lot of money, perhaps not for a football club, but when you think about what you could do with that money for the charity or community it's a lot.
My players were disciplined after two bad tackles.

DF: I don't want to speak anymore about Ipswich, we can go on with a smile on our faces.

DF: For sure DrDublin reported SCC and BWoD were greedy for no new injuries so we have done our best.
