Going to the matches was a chore last season because of the atmosphere.

Whether that was down to the football is debatable but I wonder, personally, if the lift in attitude of the crowd is down to a perceptible churn in season ticket holders. I don’t think the football has changed hugely, we’re definitely using the same approach - more effectively, perhaps. But not to forget, we had some outstanding players playing attacking football last season; it wasn’t all bad.
