Back in September/October, when it really looked NW had taken us as far as he could and it was clear that he'd really screwed up, I was hoping he'd resign with dignity and I was preparing a long post about how much I'd enjoyed 2001-2, 2003-4 and the experience of the Premiership.

As it happens, he's still here, he's ruined the squad, he's lost Ashton (the best player we've had in over a decade - just shades it over Bellamy IMO), he's probably consigned us to a long stretch in this division and he's completely eroded any goodwill from those who want him replaced.

I wouldn't go so far as to describe him as "a c**t" (at least not on a public messageboard) but the antagonistic gestures v Stoke and Brighton and his increasing stubbornness are really making me angry. And I, like many others, am beginning to resent the board because of it. When will someone act?
