Rolling Stones - high tide and green grass

Bob went on a great run from bringing it all back home/highway 61/blonde on blonde/John Wesley harding. Blood on the tracks/Time out of mind of his later stuff is great too.

The Queen greatest hits thing is cos they did good songs, but I never liked them enough to enjoy their albums

REM - all their first 10 albums are brilliant - but new adventures is an eclectic masterpiece.

Blurs 13 is where they married the scuzzy guitar /catchy song balance the best

And I really like the (early) Rolling stones, but they were an amazing singles band, so the original UK compilation of high tide green grass (incl. Little Red rooster) is flawless.
