March/Protest Analysis, Leeds and Sheff Utd Games Details
The Protest & March.
A big thank you to all who turned out on Saturday for the short march and protest. You all behaved extremely well. No swearing or abuse. Chants aimed at the board for Worthington to go. None about the players. Chants of support towards the team and players. We could not have asked for better support.
Those against our campaign did make their voices heard and also made other non-verbal gestures towards us. We cannot condone this sort of behaviour, especially as youngsters were in this protest. Well done for not reacting to their childish provocation.
We would like to thank the Police for their co-operation. From what I know, there were no arrests or warnings and everything went peacefully. This was co-ordinated via Gordon who deserves some commendation for his efforts.
We would also like to thank Neil Doncaster for taking the time to stand in Carrow Road and discuss the campaign with some of the protestors. It would have been very easy to hide away in the ground and try to pretend that nothing was going on outside.

Well done and thank you.

The Match.
Inside the ground there was little protesting. Through the campaign we had arranged none and those heard were from various fans just venting their frustrations. There was support for the team but the team on the day again failed to deliver a performance that reflected their quality or the wages they are on. A lacklustre performance with Green's world class save at the end contributing to a face saving three points after super-sub Johannson's last minute winner. Worthington and the coaching staff's goal celebrations and reactions to the win by gesturing towards a section of the crowd were unprofessional and soured the victory. There was a smaller but vocal unplanned protest after the game, which again was conducted in a well behaved and orderly manner. Again there were some unsavoury attempts to disrupt the protest by those opposed to the campaign, but they were given short shrift by the police, who again policed the protest in an exemplary manner and are to thanked again.

Leeds.
No campaigning is planned for this game. Due to the away fixture we are unable to co-operate with the West Yorkshire Police and will not consider endorsing any protest. Our campaign is solely aimed at Nigel Worthington and any future protests/campaigning will be around Carrow Road on match days.

Sheff Utd.
There is no immediate hurry to rush out plans for this game. We need to see what happens after the Leeds result. Fans' opinions will change dependent on the result and performance, so please be patient over the coming week and please keep visiting these pages for up to date news on any planned protesting activities. We want to try and have one campaigning activity organised for the day. We will liaise with the Police where possible and prefer not to have numerous protests cropping up which may upset the authorities and erode the goodwill we have built up. We have got off to a good start and will do our utmost to continue this.

Thank you for you support
