Why? The answer is 39

If sheff united win all their games they get 100 points.

If Leeds win all but their game with sheff united (which they lose) they also get 100 points.

Therefore we need 101 points to be certain. So another 38 points, which isn’t possible from 13 games so the answer is 39 (13 wins).

This wouldn’t guarantee we win the league though, because Leeds could get to 103 points, but if they did, the maximum second place score is 97 and we’d only need 35 points. (11 wins and 2 draws)
