could be 7 points from safety with 13 games to go - extremely precarious but still with a hope if they pull a run together.

However, if they lose and Reading win, they will be 12 points away from Millwall (who have a game in hand), 13 points from Reading and with a goal difference gap which is very very unlikely to be closed even if they do go on a run (22 goals) so that would effectively add another point.

I think if that happens, all hope for them s gone. To make up a 13 or 14 point gap in 13 games would be beyond Roy of the Rovers stuff.
