Last season the two played together ok but that was more backs to the wall, nick a 1-0 type performances. With how we play this season, the player who picks the ball up from defence and moves it on has assumed greater importance. Leitner makes such a difference as he can take the ball in tight areas and keep hold of it or move it swiftly thus springing beyond the press. Vrancic can do the same although does it slightly differently.

Our least convincing performances have been when opposition teams have been able to press/get at Tettey when he has the ball in front of the CB's.
