I could take losing matches more often if our work rate had been this good continuously. It's not all about winning the title again, or even making the play-offs just as last season wasn't about staying up. What stung about last season is that we could lose to Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle, United, Liverpool but nearly match them in spirit but the last game against Fulham we lay down and let them walk over us. This has summed up our entire season this year, and having to settle in is little excuse.
With regards to Worthy, if the team can work hard AND get a result as they did yesterday, then why be on his back for the sake of it?
I have to say that although I'm a former KTFer, I might be turning around again. This has been a dire season, sure, but where's the harm (in a now targetless season) to muster some support for the man and try to get the team to salvage some dignity? At least then, if our fortunes don't change, we can retain our views on his leadership and demand action.
