Press news in...

We're in at Colney ahead of the visit to Preston tomorrow.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

DF: I heard about Gordon Banks. He was an unbelievable legend. He was so famous at the World Cup in 1966 and that save against Pele. We are always sad when such a great passes away.

DF: For us, the win has not been overshadowed. Emotions are high is derbies and both benches want protect their players. I won't go too deep with it. It shouldn't happen but we all shook hands at the end.

DF: There were a lot of human beings between me and Paul [Lambert] so I didn't see quite what happened. Chris Domogalla and Ed Wootten have received a warning. But it was not too bad and I hope there won't be any individual charges against Paul.

DF: I have spoke to my staff. I always want them to be disciplined and respectful. It was a nasty foul against Max Aarons and we weren't happy with it but Ipswich thought it wasn't too bad. But we are not robots, I asked my staff if there were words or physical actions but they said there wasn't.

DF: The players were pretty disciplined. The tackle was nowhere near the ball and my players wanted to check if Max was okay. Both teams reacted relatively disciplined after the foul.

DF: Todd has a knock but he might be okay. Unfortunately for Mario, he will be out for three weeks with an ankle ligament injury. No surgery required though.

DF: Big compliments to my lads for their efforts of late. For such a young team to perform so well, it's outstanding.

DF: We've been mentally strong and consistent on the road this season. We are so together, even when we are losing and we always believe we can score.

DF: We are overachieving when you look at people's predictions at the start of the season. We've had a few tough years. We are not think about this though. We know we are in good shape and it's not a coincidence that we are top of the table. We are greedy to go further on. We know other clubs have bigger financial capabilities. I trust my group.

DF: Todd got a hit against his ankle. It's not too bad and I think he'll be okay for Preston. Emi is used to being kicked! He's okay.

DF: Emi was crucial against Ipswich. His workload was outstanding and his behaviour was brilliant. He stayed disciplined and didn't react to the tackles.

DF: Moritz and Timm will travel with us to Preston because we are staying up north. Moritz is training with the team but not 100%. Timm started training yesterday but it's too soon for tomorrow.

DF: It's good for recovery to stay up there. We don't have to travel as much and the players have a better chance to recover. The players wanted to stay up and we feel it's a good way to handle it.

DF: It's always important to have your key players available. We've handled absences to key players well though. Now Mario is out, it's a big chance for another player to shine. It's good that Moritz is not far away. But we have several other options.

DF: It's nice to break records but we have to prepare team for every challenge. We want to go further on with our successful away run.

DF: We are very respectful for Preston. It's going to be a very difficult game. We've played lots of big games recently, emotional games but to go to Preston who play with lots of aggressiveness and at a high intensity will be tough.

DF: They want to push for the play-offs and will be highly motivated. Ipswich was exhausting and Preston have had one day more to recover. It is a big test.

DF: You always have to use every situation to win games. You have the grab rewards when they come and hopefully we can do it again tomorrow.
