Regardless of progress in social democratisation beyond anything since Johannes Gutenberg,

the connecting of marginalised communities and agents with geographically distant peers, the creation of entire economies and transformation of others, and the potential to bring education to everyone, I think after tonight we can all agree that the internet was a terrible, terrible idea.
